A pesar que las barberías se han convertido en uno de los negocios que más han proliferado en la ciudad de Tijuana, el creador de las “Barberías Don Edgar”, recomendó tener vocación para esta profesión, pues el que estén de moda no significa que sean exitosas.
Lo anterior lo comentó Edgar Antonio Buena Valenzuela, durante la ceremonia de celebración del primer aniversario de la sucursal localizada en la colonia Cacho, uno de los distritos comerciales con mayor auge en la región.
Mencionó que este tipo negocios han proliferado de forma notable en la ciudad en los últimos años, debido al servicio especializado que se da a los clientes masculinos que anteriormente acudían a estéticas o peluquerías llamadas unisex.
“Hoy este concepto ha vuelto a resurgir para ofrecer a los varones una serie de servicios para ayudarlos a mejor su apariencia física, sin perder el respeto y la masculinidad de los varones que se atienden, por lo que la oferta de lugares ha crecido considerablemente”, expresó.
Sin embargo, Don Edgar afirmó que el estar de moda no significa que vayan a ser exitosas, pues la persona que maneje una empresa de este tipo debe de tener el tacto para evocar el pasado cuando los hombres adultos asistían a las barberías acompañados de sus hijos y nietos.
En ese sentido, afirmó que esa fue la inspiración para crear su negocio desde el año 2014, ya que el estilo que manejan en el concepto es recordar esas épocas donde acudir a cortarse el pelo y la barba era todo un ritual.
Destacó que el uso de toallas calientes, exfoliación, la aplicación de masajes, el corte de uñas, el trato especializado y amistoso, así como un ambiente y música relajada, han sido la clave para que la barbería se haya expandido a la zona de la Cacho, pues el primer establecimiento se ubica en la colonia Gabilondo.
“Este primer año en esta ubicación confirma el agrado que hemos tenido con la comunidad, pues a pesar de que en esta zona es más del giro gastronómico, nuestro concepto ha embonado muy bien con los otros negocios y esa es la idea, contribuir al desarrollo de todos”, concluyó.
