Con la intención de mejorar la imagen urbana de la ciudad de Ensenada en su zona turística y frente de mar, las autoridades de Turismo y Desarrollo Urbano, instalaron cuatro nuevos señalamiento verticales con alto de disco y nomenclatura, en el crucero de la Avenida Adolfo López Mateos y Calle Alvarado.
Este proyecto denominado Sistema Integral de Señalización busca abatir un añejo rezago en materia de señalética en el primer cuadro de la ciudad y en el centro histórico del puerto, con una inversión de 4.5 millones de pesos por parte del Gobierno Federal.
Dicha obra contempla la manufactura y colocación de señalamientos auxiliares informativos, los cuales proporcionarán al usuario contenido suficiente respecto a rutas, direcciones, destinos turísticos y lugares de interés.
Estos señalamientos vendrán a dar más seguridad al turista sobre las calles en las que se desplaza, ya que serán cerca de 700 piezas que estarán ubicadas en la Terminal de Cruceros, en la Avenida López Mateos, en la Plaza Cívica, calle Segunda, Avenida Ruiz y en el mirador Fernando Consang.
Dijeron las autoridades que estos señalamientos están realizados con las normas internacionales de la promoción y señalización turística, que determina cuáles serán las dimensiones, la altura, ubicación, el tamaño de los letreros.
Los señalamientos constan de 10 piezas de señalamiento vial, 334 banderolas de nomenclatura vial, 228 banderines en luminarias existentes, 12 señalamientos con información vertical, 3 señalamientos desmontables, 8 mapas sencillos, 7 mapas triples con un plano de la ciudad, una sección de ubicación y directorio de servicios, así como 140 altos que serán instalados para reposición de los existentes.
