Gracias a los investigadores y técnicos, lo mismo que a los productores que han asumido el desafío, hoy en Baja California es deseable y posible continuar esta ruta de progreso, orgullo y deleite que brindan las conchas, en envidiable maridaje con el vino bajacaliforniano.
Las autoridades de Pesca en el estado reconocieron a los organizadores del Festival de las Conchas y el Vino Nuevo, y externaron sus mejores deseos de seguir haciendo homenaje a sus fundadores, “ya que se trata de una idea que nos brinda convivencia y entendimiento de lo que nos da identidad y prestigio en todo el mundo”.
El presidente de Provino, Fernando Pérez Castro, mencionó que actualmente en Baja California, principalmente en Ensenada, existen alrededor de 150 proyectos vitivinícolas, y señaló que gracias al impulso que ha tenido el vino y las ostras de la entidad, en cualquier parte de México pueden encontrarse nuestros productos en los menús de los principales restaurantes.
