En el marco del 70 Aniversario de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos -que se conmemora el 10 de diciembre próximo- se realizará un Conversatorio Binacional denominado “Por el Derecho a la Libertad de Movimiento… Migración y Derechos Humanos”.
Dicho conversatorio se realizará el próximo viernes 26 de octubre en las instalaciones del Salón Casino del emblemático Centro Social, Cívico y Cultura Riviera de Ensenada de las 10:00 a las 12:30 horas.
El evento es coordinado por el Centro de los Mexicanos en la Globalización, el Departamento de Educación y el Cabildo del XXII Ayuntamiento de Ensenada.
El objetivo del Conversatorio es generar un espacio plural para la convergencia y divulgación de información, así como diversas opiniones sobre la condición social de la población migrante en el exterior, con base en lo que mandata el Artículo 13 de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos que a la letra dice:
“Toda persona tiene derecho a circular libremente y a elegir su residencia en el territorio de un Estado”, así como “toda persona tiene derecho a salir de cualquier país, incluso del propio, y a regresar a su país”.
