En el pasado los eventos en la vía pública estaban reservados para la recaudación de fondos para sufragar los gastos de organizaciones no gubernamentales sin fines de lucro y bajo el principio de que los beneficios promocionales y económicos son de interés público.
Entre los acuerdos tomados está brindar facilidades para la realización de conferencias, talleres, cursos de capacitaciones y eventos por parte de la Canirac para fomentar el crecimiento y promoción del sector, siempre y cuando éstos no se realicen en la vía pública.
También se convino la revisión y reactivación del otorgamiento de licencias sin costo para la venta de vinos regionales una vez que se cumplan con todos los requisitos que requiere la autoridad y aceptando que, en caso de incurrir en alguna inconsistencia a la normatividad, ésta podrá ser retirada y el establecimiento sancionado.
Carlos García Travesí, presidente de Canirac Ensenada, dijo que la reunión, los acuerdos y las decisiones tomadas por el alcalde son un parteaguas para el turismo, el sector restaurantero y la profesionalización de quienes viven de esa actividad ya sea como empresarios o trabajadores, lo que permitirá que este puerto se consolide como destino turístico de calidad.
