También se destacó la actualización que se hace de la reglamentación en materia de desarrollo urbano en la que se añadirán aspectos como el fortalecimiento de las estructuras de las obras para adaptarlas a los requerimientos de estudios realizados por el CICESE para responder a las características sismológicas de la zona.
Se sugirió a los ingenieros que se tomarán en cuenta aspectos como las distancias de la red de alumbrado público y otros requisitos requeridos por las direcciones de bomberos y protección civil.
